Rufus Lin Designs
自己紹介
Rufus Lin is a Canadian photographer/artist, who works frequently in Tokyo. Founder of the internationally renowned Japanese translation company Kakkazan Innovations Inc., with offices in Vancouver and Tokyo, he has been a print and television journalist, a creative director for an advertising agency, and for some years, also held academic/research faculty positions at a number of universities and polytechnics.
Rufus Lin has an ongoing exhibition of his photographs and/or illustrations in Tokyo. He was a judge for the Japan Illustrators Association International Competition, and has owned and operated the Rufus Lin Gallery of Japanese Art in Richmond, BC, for many years. As with the Tokyo Fashion Design project, the Rufus Lin Gallery of Japanese Art introduces the work of contemporary Japanese artists to the North American public, with explanations in English.
Rufus also plays and sings in the Rufus Lin Jazz Trio, with concerts in Shinjuku, Tokyo, about once every two months, and is a published novelist, producing fiction in both English and Japanese.
